Party II |
|
After our Samal escapade, our boss dropped me off at home where I met Joman--- my friend and, more importantly, a camel who is celebrating his birthday. Hehehe guess what's next?
"Mark, imo."
"Ahhh. Salamat 'Ric."
"Ikaw 'Noy?"
"'Di, 'sa ko bai---bug-at p'ang tiyan."
"Tep."
"Ibutang sa."
"Asa na?"
"Paghulat 'Yat."
"Ahhhhh. Salamat."
"Jom pasa kang Boyet, palihog."
"Bai, naa pay barbeque dinhi o."
"Salamat Jom. Naa pay ice?"
What transpired basically sounded like this with some variations. What do you expect? I've never seen a guy so happy as Joman in his birthday. And never felt a head as heavy and pain-filled as mine. And yet after the karaoke stint where Michael made a heart-stopping rendition of Through the Fire (and I thought he was going to give the mic to his wife), we still managed to go home with smiles pasted on our faces.
